Development and evidence
We distinguish what is known from what is still being tested.
KaiWay 1.0 is in development and is not publicly available. This page sets out how material behind it is treated.
How material is treated
Four plain distinctions: what has been lived, what has been watched happen, what is being proposed, and what is not known.
Lived
Something actually experienced or observed first-hand.
Observed
Something reality has had an opportunity to test.
Proposed
A design idea put forward, but not yet established.
Unknown
Something still open, and named as open.
What this framework is for
The purpose is to keep KaiWay from becoming larger than its evidence. A personal experience is not presented as a universal outcome, and a design idea is not presented as something already tested.
Pruned and superseded ideas stay part of the record. An idea that was set aside is part of how the work developed.
Individual development records will be published here as real material is confirmed, each stating what it contributes and what it does not establish.
